We are Raelyn Newton & Laura Evans and we love photography. We love photography so much that we started a business together in 2007 so we can do what we’re passionate about every day.
We became friends when we recognized a fellow photo-nerd in each other and continued our friendship through college where we both received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.
So you might be wondering where the name Helmutwalker comes from! Well, Raelyn happens to share her last name with one of her favorite photographers, Helmut Newton, and Laura happens to share her last name with one of her favorite photographers, Walker Evans. Coincidence?…we think not!
